Update the locking components to which the medium had been authorised. The 
maintenance task will consequently disappear from the list and deactivated media is 
no longer authorised to unlock said locking components. 

 

 

Do not use this function to delete individual authorisations on the medium. 
Deactivating media affects all authorisations of a medium within a locking 
system.  

 
 

Deactivations apply to your locking system only. If a smartphone was linked 
to several locking systems, the medium remains active in other locking sys-
tems and is still authorised to unlock components. 
 

 

To complete deactivation, notify other administrators if persons have regis-
tered a smartphone in several locking systems. 

 

 

The medium remains assigned to the person. Delete the assignment if you 
would like to delete the medium. Please refer to the 

Cancelling assign-

ments

 section for more detailed information. 

 

5.8.10

 

Removing deactivated media 

You can remove deactivated media from the system without having the corresponding 
medium at hand. This makes sure the amount of master data within the online admin-
istration is kept as low as possible, for instance for lost or stolen media.

 

Note: removing deactivated media is exclusively possible if the medium has been deac-
tivated and the master key system is up to date. Consequently, the medium has either 
been updated or an updated blacklist has been loaded to all locking components for 
which the media had been authorised. It is not possible to remove media until the afore-
mentioned conditions have been met.

In the overview list, click the deactivated, up-to-date medium you would like to re-
move.

A message appears notifying of successful deletion and the medium is then no longer 
shown in the system 

 

 

This action is irrevocable. Media removed using this process are no longer 
listed in the system and they can consequently no longer be managed.

 

 
This process does not automatically reset media to factory state. Once you 
have retrieved lost or stolen media, it is initially required to update the me-
