Installing replacement components with smartphones

This requires a smartphone with activated maintenance mode within the
locking system where the replacement component is to be installed.

Select the

Connect to component

function in the AirKey app.

Hold the smartphone to the locking component in factory state.

Open the menu and select

Issue replacement cylinder.

In the following dialogue, select the locking component you would like to replace and
click

Continue

to confirm.

Once again hold the smartphone to the locking component in factory state.

Specify whether you would like to add a maintenance tasks for later installation.

Click

Install later

to cancel the process, providing you must still install the locking

component on the door or select

Complete

if the component has already been fitted

to the door.

Update the locking component after having installed it in the door.

Installing replacement components using the coding station

The replacement component must be in factory state.

Hold the replacement component to the coding station.

In the bottom right, in the dialogue window, select the locking compo-
nent for replacement in

Replacement cylinder and thumb turn | Is-

sue replacement thumb turn

Click

Continue.

Hold the replacement component to the coding station.

Only remove the replacement component once the corresponding con-
firmation prompt appears.

Specify whether you would like to add a maintenance tasks for later
installation.

Click

Install later

to cancel the process, providing you must still install

the locking component on the door or select

Complete

if the component

has already been fitted to the door.

Update the locking component after having installed it in the door.

If the replacement component features an old firmware version,

the firmware update is run during this process.

You are no longer able to use the replaced locking component following this
process. For this reason, exclusively use this function if the locking compo-
nent is actually faulty and you no longer require it.
