3-1 Create and configure channels
2. Login as admin.
3. Ensure at least two video input sources are connected to the system.
4. From the web interface, scroll to the
Channels
menu option.
5. Click
Add channel
located at the bottom of the list; a new channel is created and its Sources page
opens.
A multiple source channel is named Channel 1, Channel 2, etc. by default; you must specify a
name during configuration. Refer to
Rename a channel
6. Click the
Use video source
drop-down menu; a list of available sources appears.
7. Select
Multiple sources
; a source drop-down menu and source preview window appears.
8. Unless you want to stretch your sources, make sure the
Keep aspect ratio
check box is selected. This will
ensure your sources always maintain their correct aspect ratio in this multi-source layout.
9. Do the following for each source:
a. If needed (e.g. for all but the first source), click
Add source
to add a source to the layout.
b. Click the
Source
drop-down menu for the source you're arranging. A list of configured sources
appears.
c. Choose a source from the drop-down menu.
