Function description SUPERVISION
ACTUAL SYSTEM
CONDITION The current system status appears on the display.
Display:
“SYSTEM OK” or the fault/notice message with the highest priority.
PREVIOUS SYSTEM
CONDITIONS The last 16 fault and notice messages appear on the display.
ASSIGN SYSTEM ERROR All system errors appear on the display. If you select a single system error you can change
its error category.

• Each individual message can be selected using the
O
and
S
key.
• If the
F
key is pressed twice, the ERROR CATEGORY function is called up.
• Use the
P
key combination or select “CANCEL” (in the system error list) to exit the
function.
ERROR CATEGORY Use this function to define whether a system error triggers a notice message or a fault
message. If you select “FAULT MESSAGES”, all outputs respond to an error in
accordance with their defined failsafe mode.

ALARM DELAY Use this function to define a time span for which the criteria for an error have to be
satisfied without interruption before a fault or notice message is generated. Depending on
the setting and the type of error, this suppression acts on the display, the current output
and the pulse/status output.

Caution!
If this function is used, fault and notice messages are delayed by the time corresponding
to the setting before being forwarded to the higher-level controller (PCS, etc.). It is
therefore imperative to check in advance whether a delay of this nature could affect the
safety requirements of the process. If fault and notice messages may not be suppressed, a
value of 0 seconds must be entered here.
SYSTEM RESET Use this function to reset the measuring system.
