SECTION 1
SET UP
Before starting up the Aquastorm 200™ on initial start up or daily start up, review the Pre-Start Checklist
and perform the necessary procedures outlined which may apply.

PRE-START CHECKLIST
Conveyor
Inspect the conveyor for obstructions to
make sure it is not hindered anywhere
along its path.
Inspect the conveyor wire belt tension for
excess slack. The belt should not extend
more than 3.81cm (1.0 in.) from its
relaxed state when placing the index
finger of your hand behind the belt at a
point mid-way in the vertical travel of the
belt at the entrance end of the conveyor.
If adjustment is required, refer to the
Conveyor Wire Belt Tension Adjustment
procedure in the Maintenance section of
this manual.
If your system is configured with the
Optional Inlet Conveyor and Optional
Photocell, ensure that the photocell is
clean and free of debris and condensation.
Also ensure that the photocell emitter and
reflector are properly aligned.
If photocell alignment is required, refer to
the Photo Sensor Adjustment, Alignment
procedure in the Maintenance section of
this manual.
Splash Shields and Windows
Ensure all splash shields are clean and in
place.
Ensure all tempered glass windows are
clean and in the closed position.
Electrical Enclosures and
Maintenance Panels
Verify that both electrical enclosures are
closed and tightly latched.
The High Voltage electrical enclosure is
located behind the 4th and 5th front
access panels toward the front exit end of
the system.
The System L ow Voltage electrical
enclosure is located behind the 1st and
2nd front access panels from the front
entrance end of the system.
Ensure all front and rear maintenance
access panels are in place prior to
operation.
Facility Connections
Verify that the Aquastorm 200
TM
system
drain is connected to the facility drain.
Ensure that the facility water supply to the
Aquastorm's Fill and Final Rinse
connections are turned on.
Check the facility exhaust to the
Aquastorm 200™
to ensure it is activated.
Activate facility power to the Aquastorm
200™ by turning on the system
disconnect at the exit end of the system
(available on 460 V systems only).

When facility power to the Aquastorm
200™ System has been activated the
following system functions occur:
•
The LCD illuminates with system's status
displayed
•
Main Power Off Indicator Illuminates Red
•
Fill and drain solenoids for all tanks are
enabled
•
Wash operating level indicator illuminates
green (if tank is full)
•
Rinse operating level indicator illuminates
green (if tank is full)
