11.8.9: Analog Input Modules
11.8.9.1: Overview
The Analog Input module converts a voltage level from a device, e.g., a temperature
or pressure meter, into a digital value that can be stored and processed in the meter.
The Analog Input Modules (0±1 mA, 0±20 mA, 0±5 VDC and 0±10 VDC) are avail-
able in 8-channel format. Maximum registers per request, read or write, is 17 regis-
ters.
All inputs share a single common point. This is also an isolated connection (from
ground).
