3.9 Password protection
For the device with a touchscreen display, there is 3-level password pro-
tection. The passwords can be activated and deactivated independently of
each other. The passwords for the individual levels can be set separately.
Passwords are defined using the „Setup“ button
3.9.1 Password level 1
Protection against unauthorised usage of the device. It is not possible to
make any changes to the test parameters or in the setup of the device. It
is possible to load an existing test plan and execute the test. Changes at
existing test plans are not possible.

Protection against changes to the „test parameters“. Prompt after opening
„Test plans“, „Manual test“ or „set of parameter“.

Note: On entering of the pass word, the level is unlocked permanently.
The anew entering of the pass word is then on the next boot-up of the
tester, necessary.
Note: If individual passwords no more known, it is possible to reset the old
pass word by using a universal pass word, see also chapt. 10.6.
