11.4 Setting parameters Burn (Option)
BURN with AC voltage, for the localisation of low insulation points inside
the test object. By the over-flash of the voltage, it is possible, to welding
out the insulation fault. The maximum short-circuit current at BURN is:
appr. 250 mA in 2,5 kV range and appr. 150 mA in 5 kV range.
The BURN mode, don't ensures a non destructive testing, since the tripping
current release is blocked. Use the BURN function only for the localisation
an welding out of low insulation points.

HV - HV-test with AC voltage max. 5000 V / max. 200 mA.
ISO - Insulation-test with DC voltage 1200 V max. 250 MOhm.

5 ... 32 A / 0 ... 1200 mOhm.
Burn (option) - HV-test with AC voltage max. 5000 V with the maximum
of test current. The over current tripping is not active.

Voltage range "low / high"
low - test voltage max. 100 .... 2500 V AC
high - test voltage max. 200 .... 5000 V AC
Test voltage "0.01 ... 5.0 kV AC" -
set the test voltage for the HV-test .
Run up (on/off)
- activates the ramp-up function of the test voltage.
off- no ramp-up function, the full test voltage is applied.
on - ramp-up function active. The test voltage is increased linearly
from the start voltage up to the test voltage.
