Full-electronic HV-Tester F1-1x Typs
3. MAKEREADY
3.14 Safety circuits SK1 and SK2
The high voltage device is equipped with two safety circuits. Op-
eration with a second safety circuit increases the safety on test
systems with guards.
ONLY AN ELECTRICIAN IS ALLOWED TO WORK ON THE SAFETY
CIRCUIT, WITH THE DEVICE ELECTRICALLY ISOLATED FROM THE
MAINS (UNPLUG FROM THE MAINS SOCKET).
Attention:
Faulty safety circuits are only allowed to be repaired by an electrician with
appropriate skills.
Attention:
The managerial staff must ensure the safety circuit works correctly, on
site, immediately after the completion of the repair.
Note:
SK1 is closed by connecting to Ue
SK2 is closed by connecting to GND
On this topic see chapter 6.2.3. „Digital interface X7“
3.14.1
Fault in the device‘s safety circuit
Important:
If a malfunction is found in the safety circuit incorporated in
the device, testing must be interrupted immediately. No further tests are
allowed. The device must be sent to ELABO for repair without delay.
3.15
Software-Update Display
Important
:
Software updates are your own risk. ELABO accept no costs,
are based of an incorrect installed software update.
- Request the update software (zip-file) for the F1-/F7- tester from ELABO.
- Unpack the zip-file to the main-directory of a clean USB-stick - Attention:
The file structure must be preserved.
- Plug-in the USB-stick into the USB-socket X8 on the tester.
- Operate the main switch of the tester (ON).
- The tester boots up and detect the connected USB-stick.
- If the boot-loader will find a software version higher then the actual in the
main-directory of the stick, this software will copy to the tester. The older
(actual) version will saved in a separate directory (name = actual date).
- The new software version is active after a restart of the tester.
