longer than
This option is being used if in configuration “PSTN line – EPX400 – Alarm Control
Panel” there are not other telecommunication devices. If such device will be
connected and telephone number will be dialled (and a call will follow) after expiry
defined time limit (counted since conclusion of last digit dialling) the communicator
sends a message. This operation prevents unauthorised installation of additional
devices.
General dialtone
8.6.6.
Some alarm control panels require that during a receiver picking up a tone of dialling
was actuated. To enable cooperation with a communicator it is possible to make a
communicator to generate such tone.
Detect off-hook after
8.6.7.
The default value for the delay detection off-hook is 100ms. You can define your own
delay value by choosing option "After" and giving the number in milliseconds.
Enable non-volatile control panel messages FIFO
8.6.8.
Selecting this setting protects events waiting to be sent (e.g. in case of restart or
power loss). They are stored in non-volatile memory.
If you select „Enable non-volatile control panel messages FIFO”:
o
The message received from the control panel and the time of message
reception are stored in non-volatile memory and next reported to OSM.Server.
o
Command FLUSH=4, deletes only the events stored In the non-volatile
memory and generates the event EVENT_FIFO_FLUSHED.
If you don’t choose „Enable non-volatile control panel messages FIFO”:
o
The message received from the control panel is stored in volatile memory. The
reception time is not stored. The message and sending time from the
communicator are reported to OSM.Server.
o
Command FLUSH=4, deletes only the events stored in volatile memory and
generates the event EVENT_FIFO_FLUSHED.
Regardless of choosing the option „Enable non-volatile control panel messages
FIFO”:
o
Each message from the control panel is reported to the OSM.Server in a
separate frame / SMS.
o
If in the memory are unsent messages from the control panel, the newly
dialled phone number will not be accepted.
If in the memory are unsent messages from the control panel and the memory will
be disabled by changing the configuration, unsent events can be sent when the
memory will be enabled again.
DTMF phone numbers - First and Second numbers
8.6.1.
To provide for proper cooperation between a communicator and a control panel in
DTMF mode determination of some parameters is required. The below described
