Procedure
1. Incise the cable at the correct length, as shown.
L1 = 650 mm
2. Terminate the cable, as shown.
L2 = 175 mm
d = diameter across the lead sheath
Remove the lead sheath over distance (d).
Remove the sharp edges of the lead sheath.

EMARK
To simplify insertion of the cable cores in the right
tubes of the cable box, it is recommended to cut
the cable cores to different lengths.

3. Remove the O-ring (f) from the gland bush (g).
4. Saw off the underside of the gland bush so that a hole
is created whose inside diameter equals the diameter
measured across the lead sheath.
5. Slide the gland bush along the lead sheath.
6. Solder the gland bush (b) straight onto the
lead sheath (a).
Preferably use soldering tin containing 35% tin and
65% lead so that the soldering temperature can be
kept as low as possible.
Make sure that the top of the gland bush and the
end of the lead sheath match.
7. Grease the O-ring (f) using silicone grease or acid-free
Vaseline and slide it onto the cooled gland bush (g).

EMARK
The filling opening is located at the front. Make
sure the paper insulation of the cores does not get
damaged (B).
