1.1 Introduction to Eaton iCube 2.0
Eaton’s new generation of iCube Micro Data Center is a converged data center infrastructure solution. The
solution integrates subsystems such as UPS, power distribution, cooling, environmental monitoring, and
lighting. Eaton iCube 2.0 is available as a single cabinet or as multiple cabinets to accommodate different
applications. Both configurations are provided as pre-designed systems and with factory validation. The cabinets
can be deployed quickly and offers great flexibility in the choice of configurations. They are designed for use in
environment requiring micro data centers, computer or server rooms for small and medium businesses, and
branch offices.
The Eaton iCube 2.0 comes with a choice of basic single cabinet, standard single cabinet, and row or multiple
cabinet system. All devices that meets EIA-310-D standards can be installed in the cabinet. It comes standard
with 10.1-inch touch screen, LED lighting with colorful atmosphere lights, temperature and humidity sensor, and
smoke and water leakage sensor.
