3.2 Electrical connection
The following Electrical connections of the Eaton iCube 2.0 row (multiple) cabinets are required in the field:
•
Connecting the PDU between the main equipment cabinet and sub IT cabinets
•
Power to cooling unit
•
Communication to cooling unit
•
Communication to Electronic lock / temperature and humidity / connects smoke sensor/
water leakage sensor…

All cables are provided. There is no need to purchase additional connection cables and wires except for an
external input cable.
WARNING
All lines must follow the principle of horizontal and vertical wiring . There should be cable ties inside the
cabinet or inside the cable rack to ensure the aesthetics of the cable .
WARNING
For the row (multiple) cabinet system, the upper layer of the overhead cable tray is for low
voltage including data and control connections , and the lower layer of the cable tray is for high voltage
power wirings
3.2.1 PDU connection between main equipment cabinet and sub IT cabinets:
Place the PDU cables on top of each IT cabinet to the terminal block at the rear of the PDM in Main equipment
cabinet. PDU2-A and PDU2-B corresponds to the two(2) PDUs in #2 IT cabinet, the same for #3 IT cabinet etc..
Attention should be paid to the corresponding label, L L; N N; PE PE, see the figure: 3 .5 below:
