PRODUCT SAFETY POINTS RELATED TO EATON’S MICRO DATA CENTER
1. Before performing any operational steps on the product, the user must read this manual carefully.
2. The “caution” and “warning” sections in this manual do not represent all the safety precautions. These
sections only highlight some points for safety precautions.
3. This product is recommended for commercial or for other professional use.
4. This product is to be used for its design purposes only and Eaton will not accept any responsibility of misuse.
5. The designated areas of the product cabinet are restricted areas. Eaton recommends that access to restricted
areas be given only to authorized employees.
6. The product password must be maintained by the designated person-in-charge.
7. For the safety precautions of the UPS and air-conditioners, please refer to the UPS and cooler user manuals
and maintenance manuals.
Electrical safety
1. For electrical connections, insulating tools should be used.
2. After the product emits a warning through the monitoring floor, it is necessary to find out the cause promptly
and handle the problem to avoid further problems or failures.
Potential risks
1. The product can begin its operation only after it is disconnected from all power sources.
2. Before opening internal components for maintenance, the power switch and all UPS supplies
must be disconnected.
Risk of electric shock
An electric shock can cause personal injury or death therefore it is advisable to pay attention to the
following points:
1. Before working on components inside the product, disconnect the control box and the remote power supply.
2. Before installation, read all the operating instructions, verify that all the components arrived at the installation
site and check the nameplate to make sure the voltage matches the mains supply.
