To successfully u lize the alarm func on of your Digital Electronics Package, please make sure
that the alarm relay is wired according to the diagram in the Wiring Customer Connec ons
‐
Alarm Outputs sec on of this manual. The relay can be used to trigger alarms which warn the
operator that a batch is complete or that the rate has exceeded a set speed. The outputs are
programmable to be assigned for rate or count. Below is a step by step procedure for se ng a
High Alarm for a Rate of 20 ton/hr.
Step 1:
From the TOP.I/O page press the
ALARM

Step 2:
You will now be on the I/O.ALARM
page. Details of this page can be
found in the HMI Screen Guide in
this
manual.
Step 3:
Press the TYPE Bu on. Select ‘Rate’
from the pop up menu. Check the
Blue display box to the right of the
TYPE
Bu on to make sure that
“Rate” is displayed.
Step 4:
You have chosen to set the alarm
based on Rate. Now you must
select a target value that will trigger
the alarm. Select a Target Value by

Step 5:
You should now be on the
I/O.ALARM.SP page. Press the RATE
TARGET
