Sta c Calibra on (Sta c Cal.)
Sta c Calibra on sets the Range of the Transducer in the CentriFeeder™ Meter. This allows
the meter to be versa le in a way such that it can be ranged up, known as Extended Sta c Cal
‐
ibra on, or it can be ranged down, known as Reduced Sta c Calibra on. The Sta c Calibra on
is a Factory Se ng and should not need to be changed while the meter is in service, unless the
Transducer has been replaced. Se ng or checking the Sta c Calibra on consists of two steps
– Zero and Sta c Calibra on. Note that readings are measured using two di
ff
erent units

and % Volts. The di

erence between the two scales is the Dynamic CAL mul plier. The nomi
‐
nal value is
fi
ve (5), this value equates to mul plying by one.
Before beginning the calibra ons, make sure that there is no product on the Pan or around the
Pan Arms.
The procedure for se ng or checking the Sta c Calibra on is as follows:
Step 1:
Click the CAL Bu on on the TOP Menu, then click the ZERO Bu on.
Step 2:
You should now be on the CAL.ZERO page as seen below.
Step 3:
Press the Zero Bu on. Verify that the number displayed in the Diagnos c Window is
0.0 % Process Variable.
Step 4:
The Zero por on of Sta c Calibra on is complete. Press the Red TO CAL Bu on on
the upper right of the screen in order to return to the TOP.CAL page.
Step 5:
Press the CALs Bu on. You should now be on the CAL.CALs page as seen on the next
page.
