1 - DESCRIZIONE
IMPIANTO INIEZIONE -
ACCENSIONE
Informazioni generali sul
sistema iniezione -
accensione
L'accensione e l'iniezione con
controllo elettronico integrato
(una sola centralina), permettono
di ottimizzare le prestazioni e
l'erogazione del motore a ciclo otto,
riducendo il consumo specifico e
le sostanze inquinanti presenti nei
gas di scarico. Con questi sistemi
viene infatti garantita una accurata
regolazione del rapporto aria -
carburante e la gestione ottimale
dell'anticipo dell'accensione.
Il sistema di alimentazione è
costituito da tre circuiti distinti:
Circuito carburante
Circuito aria aspirata
Circuito elettrico (con centralina,
sensori e attuatori)
Influenza del rapporto aria -
carburante e dell’anticipo
accensione
La corretta gestione del rapporto
aria-carburante e dell’anticipo di
accensione è alla base del
funzionamento ottimale del motore.
Il rapporto aria-carburante è dato dal
rapporto, in peso, di aria e di benzina
aspirati dal motore: il rapporto ideale
o stechiometrico, è quello che
determina la combustione completa.
Aria in eccesso o aria in difetto danno
luogo rispettivamente a miscela
povera o miscela ricca, che influiscono
sulla potenza e sul consumo, oltre che
sulle emissioni dei gas di scarico.
Il controllo elettronico dell’anticipo
dell’accensione permette di
ottimizzare le prestazioni del motore,
la potenza massima, i consumi e
le concentrazioni dei gas inquinanti
allo scarico.
Il controllo elettronico dell’anticipo,
integrato a quello dell’alimentazione,
permette di realizzare il miglior
funzionamento del motore in tutte
le condizioni di utilizzo (avviamenti
a bassa temperatura, fase di
riscaldamento, fasi transitorie di
accelerazione e decelerazione,
motore in condizioni di carico
parzializzato, pieno carico, regime
del minimo).
1 - DESCRIPTION OF THE
FUEL INJECTION-
IGNITION SYSTEM
General information on
the fuel injection-ignition
system
The integrated electronic control
system, with ignition and injection
both controlled by the same control
unit, ensures optimal engine
performance and output, thus
reducing fuel consumption and
harmful exhaust emissions.
This system ensures an accurately
metered air-fuel ratio and optimal
management of ignition advance.
The fuel system is composed of three
distinct circuits:
Fuel circuit
Air circuit
Electrical circuit (with control unit,
sensors and actuators)
Importance of the air-fuel
mixture and of the ignition
advance
Correct management of the air--fuel
mixture and of the ignition advance
are fundamental for optimal engine
operation.
The air-fuel mixture is given by the
ratio, in weight, of air to fuel taken
in by the engine: the ideal
or stoichiometric ratio is that which
determines complete combustion.
Excessive air or insufficient air gives
rise to, respectively, a lean (or weak)
mixture or a rich mixture, which affect
power and consumption, as well as
emissions of exhaust gases.
Electronic control of the ignition
advance makes it possible to optimise
engine performance, maximum
power, fuel consumption, and
concentration of exhaust pollutants.
Electronic ignition timing control
combined with fuel supply control
allows for optimal engine operation in
all conditions of use (low temperature
start, warm-up stage, transitory
acceleration/deceleration stages,
engine under partial load, full load,
idle).
