5 Cleaning, maintenance and validation

Disassemble the water tank by removing the handle, the lid and the
float including the float guide.

Clean the water tank
There are 2 options for cleaning the water tank:

● Cleaning the individual parts in a thermal disinfector
● Manual cleaning as described below.
1. Rinse the water tank with warm water (maximum 50 ºC / 122 ºF).
2. Empty the water tank again.
3. Clean the inside and outside of the water tank carefully with a moist
cloth.
4. Wipe the inside and outside of the water tank dry with a clean cloth.

Rinse the handle, lid and the float incl. float guide with warm water
(max. 50°C / 122°F).

IMPORTANT
There must be no residual water in the water tank, otherwise the
conductivity will be measured. An alarm sounds and an error
message appears.
5.1.14 Clean the drain tank
Frequency: As soon as it is full and in addition, weekly or every 50
cycles (whichever comes first).
WARNING
Risk of contamination!
Do not start a cycle if the DAC Universal is not connected to the drain
tank or a siphon or if the drainage system installation was not
performed correctly.

The DAC Universal is switched on and is in the Check & Clean
process menu.
ü The drain tank is cooled down.
ü
Wear your personal protective gear.
