5.1 Check & Clean process

Repeat for all available adapters.

WARNING

Risk of contamination!

If the O-rings are not placed on the correct notches on the adapter,
the instruments and the O-rings can be damaged. Correct cleaning
and sterilization / disinfection is not ensured.

WARNING

Risk of contamination!

If the O-rings are damaged or are missing, the reprocessing cycle
cannot be guaranteed. Cross-contamination may occur.

Some adapters have internal O-rings that must be replaced by your
service technician during servicing (see separate adapter operating
instructions).

For further information about the adapters and the corresponding O-
rings, please see the separate operating instructions for adapters.

5.1.18

Clean the housing of the unit / the lid and the chamber

Frequency: Weekly or every 50 cycles (whichever comes first).

The DAC Universal is switched on and is in the Check & Clean
process menu.

All available Blue and Green lids are ready.

Next Check &

Clean step" function key.

Clean the device house, all the available lids and the chamber of
the DAC Universal with a soft, lint-free cloth and a solution made of
70% isopropyl.

The surface must not be cleaned with agents containing chlorine.
