3.1.1 Clearance Zone

A minimum of 900 mm (36”) of clear floor space in front of and behind the equipment is
recommended for service access. All required normal maintenance is performed from the
front and rear of the equipment.

It is recommended to preserve 47.2 inch in the front communication aisle, 23.6 inch in the
rear aisle, and at least 60 cm above the cabinet to facilitate wiring and piping.
