now running in the secondary site.
Performing a graceful recovery
This procedure explains how to gracefully recover management components from the secondary site to
the primary site.
Procedure
1
Manually power off the NSX Manager and controllers.
To reduce the risk of errors, manually power off the NSX Manager and controllers
before migrating. This process prevents errors after connectivity is restored in the
secondary site.

On the VMware vSphere Web Client
Home
tab, under
Inventories
, click
Hosts and
Clusters
.

Expand the
Management VPLEX vSphere cluster
to view the VMs.

Right-click
NSX Manager VM
and select
Power > Shutdown guest OS
.

Repeat the steps for all the NSX Controllers in the following order:

NSX Controller 3
ii
NSX Controller 2
iii
NSX Controller 1

Perform a cold migration of the NSX Manager and controllers from the secondary site to the
primary site.
After the migration, expect a loss of network communication to all the VMs until the SVI
is switched over from the secondary site to the primary site.

NSX Manager VM
and select
Migrate
.

Migrate
wizard opens. Enter the data values as requested, accept the default settings
presented, and use the following configuration information:
