Removing the uplink port profiles

Remove the uplink port profiles from the trunks that run northbound from the Cisco Nexus 1000V Switch.
Northbound traffic from the Cisco Nexus 1000V Switch is affected.

Before you begin

•

Verify that VLANs on uplinks exist in Cisco aggregation switches.

•

Verify the use of jumbo frames.

•

Obtain the IP address of the Cisco Nexus 1000V Switch VSM.

Procedure

1

Log on to the VSM.

2

Type the following commands:

configure terminal

no port-profile type ethernet PRODUCTION-UPLINK

copy run start

end

Modifying vEthernet data port profiles

Modify data port profiles for VMware VM traffic, L3 VMotion, NFS, and VSM Layer 3 Control.
