FL : Setting the minimum frequency
FL is used to set the minimum frequency at which the electric pump is to be run. The minimum value may be
assumed to be 0Hz, the maximum value is 80% of Fn. For example, if Fn=50Hz, FL may be set to between
0Hz and 40Hz. FL will align automatically with Fn whenever a new Fn is set.
1.15.8
Ft : Setting the low flow rate threshold
The device comprises a flow sensor. With the electric pump switched off, a new calibration is periodically
performed of the zero flow rate value (ZF). The ACTIVE DRIVER switches off the electric pump when the
flow rate reading is lower than the “Ft” parameter.
1.15.9
CM : Exchange method
When two inverters are interconnected to operate in exchange mode, various strategies are available to
alternate start-up of the two electric pumps.
CM = 0 : The primary ACTIVE DRIVER is always the Master element in the setting and the secondary
ACTIVE DRIVER acts as a booster (if Eb=2) or as a reserve (if Eb=1). If the secondary machine
remains unused for 23 hours, it becomes the Master unit until one minute of regulation is
accumulated. During operation, if the master electric pump is not able to meet the utility
requirements, the booster electric pump will also be switched on and will work at the maximum
frequency, while the master machine will continue to modulate the rotation frequency according to
the utility. If the utility demand decreases, the booster machine switches off, while the master unit
continues to operate.
CM = 1 : The primary and secondary ACTIVE DRIVERS alternate as Master units. The exchange takes
place each time the master ACTIVE DRIVER sets to stand-by mode or after 2 hours of continuous
activity. If during operation the master electric pump is unable to meet the utility requirements and
the secondary electric pump is set as a booster (Eb=2), the latter will work at maximum frequency,
while the master ACTIVE DRIVER will continue to modulate the rotation frequency according to
the utility. If the utility decreases, the master machine sets to stand-by and becomes the booster
(off), while the booster machine becomes the master (and starts regulating at variable speed).
For each of the two exchange modes, if one of the machine breaks down, the other becomes the master and carries
out regulation at constant pressure up to its maximum available power.

AE : Enabling the anti-block/anti-frost function
This function serves to avoid mechanical seizure in the event of prolonged disuse or in the event of low
temperatures, and is implemented by setting the electric pump in rotation. When this function is enabled, if
the device measures a temperature that is too low and with a risk of frost, it automatically starts to turn the
electric pump at a low number of revs. The circulation of water reduces the risk of freezing in the pump. Also
the dispersion of energy avoids the risk of damage to the device due to ice. If, however, the temperature is
within a safety range, prolonged disuse of the pump may in any caser block mechanical moving parts or
cause the formation of residue inside the pump; to avoid this the pump runs an unblocking cycle every 23
hours.
