Telephone to Keypad Intercom
The telephone to keypad intercom function can also be used from any
telephone in the house or from any outside telephone.
From the local or remote phone User Menu, press 5 for Voice Station. If
you have more than one Keypad, there will be a menu to select the
Keypad
Select Station 1 to ( number of keypads )
You can listen to any sounds or talk to anyone in the vicinity of the
Keypad. Press the Keypad number 1 to 8 to select another Keypad to
monitor. Press # to end.
Note that the menu 5 for Voice Station when used on a keypad goes into
Baby Monitor Mode, see below.
Baby Monitor Intercom
Go to a keypad (which is not in the baby’s room) and sign in with your
user code and press 5 for Voice Station.
If there are more than 1 keypad on the premises, you will be asked to
select one of them to intercom.
Select Station 1 to (maximum)
Enter the Keypad number (1 to 8) to select the Keypad where the baby
is (It must not be the one you are using!).
This turns on the microphone on the other keypad so sounds on the
keypad can be heard on the keypad which is being used. The MIC red
LED on the other keypad will be turned on. The system will remain in
intercom mode until the F key is pressed on either keypad or an
announcement like “Doorbell” is required, or an alarm occurs which
terminates the intercom. This monitor mode is one way only, the
originating keypad is unable to talk to the other keypad.
Press # to end the Baby Monitor mode, and return to the previous menu.
Note that the menu 5 for Voice Station when used on a remote or local
telephone goes into two-way Intercom mode (see above)
