SECTION 4 HOME CONTROL MENU
Keypad Shortcut to Home Control
The Home Control Menu is programmed by your installer according to
your requirements. This is accessed by pressing F2
The first level of the Home Control Menu may be to select the group of
appliances. For example,
0 for Lights,
1 for Air-conditioners,
2 for Appliances
When one of the groups say “0 for Lights” is selected, the lights which
can be controlled are announced, e.g..
0 for All Lights
1 for Living Room Light
2 for Master Bedroom Light
3 for Dining Room light
...
9 for Garage light
When one of the items on the list is selected, the actions which are
possible for the device are announced, e.g.
Living Room Light is Off
Press 0 for Off
1 for On
Press # for Previous Menu
The real state of the device may be announced as in the above example.
This is only possible if a current sensor or some other sensing device is
used to monitor the device on/off state.
When an action has been selected, the menu will return to the top level
for selection of groups.
When there are fewer than 10 devices to be controlled, the first level to
select the group of appliances may not be announced, and the menu to
select the actual device would be heard instead, for example
