Erase the Greeting Message
Keypad F+*, 5 or Program Menu 1,5.
If there is no Greeting message and no recorded user names, Comfort
answers calls with “Please Sign In”.
Record User Name
User Menu 2,6,2.
When someone calls, Comfort prompts the caller to leave a message by
selecting the user name, i.e.
“ Press 1 for (user1)
2 for(user 2)..
... ”
Listen to User Name
User Menu 2,6,3.
Erase User Name
User Menu 2,6,8.
Without a user name, the name will not be announced in the list of
names for an incoming caller to leave messages, but messages can still
be left in your mailbox by selecting your user/mailbox number.
Hear Saved Messages
User Menu 2,2. While listening, press 1 for next message, 2 for Previous
message, 0 for 1st message, 9 for last message, 3 to erase the current
message.
Erase Saved Messages in your mailbox
User Menu 2,3.
Assign a Telephone to your Mailbox for Message Forwarding
User Menu 2,6,7.
Select one of the 8 programmed telephones 1 to 8 or 0 for No phone
assignment. All new messages will be forwarded to your programmed
phone.
Screen Incoming Calls
User Menu 2,6,6, and press 1 for screening On or 0 for screening Off.
Change Number of Rings to Answer
Keypad F+*,1 or Program Menu 1,1, and select Security Mode (0=Off,
1= Away, 2 + Night, 3 = Day). The number of rings in each mode can be
