Pattern Cloning Between Two Drum Drones

You can copy patterns from one drum machine to another. You can do

so by first connecting standard MIDI cables between the two units as

shown in the image below. Connect the

MIDI In

jack from the first

machine to the

MIDI Out

jack of the second, and the

MIDI Out

jack from

the first machine to the

MIDI In

jack of the second. Basic copy and paste

functions that are normally used for pattern manipulation will now apply

between the machines.

To clone patterns select one or more pattern(s) P1 through P16 on the

source drum machine and perform a copy operation using

[FUNC]

+

[COPY]

on the source drum machine. Then select one or more patterns on the

destination drum machine and perform a paste operation

[FUNC]

+

[PASTE]

on the destination drum machine. Patterns will be copied from the

source drum machine and sent to the destination drum machine. You

can also copy/paste patterns between the Beat Bot and the Drum

Drone.
