Clear One or More Patterns
Clearing a pattern will reset it to a silent 16-step pattern.
Clear a single pattern by pressing
[CLEAR]
+
[#]
, where "#" is the pattern
number you want to clear.
Clear a range of patterns by pressing
[CLEAR]
+
[low #]
+
[high #]
, where
"low #" and "high #" represent the first and last patterns in the range you
want to clear.
Merge Multiple Patterns into a Single Pattern
Sometimes it is convenient to merge a number of patterns into a single
longer pattern. For example, you may want to convert a group of four
16-step patterns into a single 64-step pattern. This can be done using
the Merge Copy/Paste function.
Select the range of patterns you wish to merge, then press
[FUNC]
+
[COPY]
to copy them to the clipboard. Select a single destination
pattern slot then press
[FUNC]
+
[PASTE]
to merge the source patterns into
the destination pattern.
The destination pattern will be assigned with the color and Time Scale of
the first pattern in the group of source patterns. The destination pattern
contain a maximum of 64 steps (or 48 steps for patterns with either of
the triplet Time Scales).
Tip!
When a pattern is copied to or pasted from the clipboard, both the
normal and the fill variations of the pattern are included.
