A.2. External Interfaces

A.2.1. Console Port

An RS-232 DTE port is provided for communication with a configuration
terminal.

A maximum speed of 115.2kbps is supported on this port. Use a straight-
through cable to connect to DCE devices (modems, for example). Use a cross-
cable to connect to a DTE device (terminal, host computer, etc). The pinout
diagrams are shown below.

A.2.2. Ethernet Port

The PR2000 Ethernet port supports the IEEE I802.3 physical specifications. It
provides a single Ethernet interface and can support 10Base-T (Unshielded
Twisted Pair) on a standard RJ-45 connector.
