SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
This section describes service and maintenance procedures to be performed on the Unit and system.
WARNING: Disconnect electrical power to Unit to prevent personnel injury before
attempting any internal maintenance. Only qualified personnel should service internal
components or electrical wiring.
CAUTION: Before shipping, storing, or relocating Unit, syrup systems must be sanitized
and all sanitizing solution must be purged from syrup coils. All water must be purged from
carbonated and plain water systems and ice bank melted and all water drained from water
tank. A freezing ambient environment will cause residual water remaining inside Unit to freeze
resulting in damage to internal components.
HOOD REMOVAL
(see Figure 5)
Remove one screw on top of hood, then lift hood straight up off Unit.
DROP-IN REFRIGERATION ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
(see Figure 5)
1. Unplug Unit power cord from electrical outlet.
2. Remove Unit hood by removing one screw on top of hood, then lift hood straight up off Unit.
3. Unplug refrigeration assembly power cord from Unit power cord. Unplug dispensing valve transformer
power cord connector from Unit wiring harness connector.
4. Lift refrigeration assembly up and out of Unit.
5. Install refrigeration assembly in Unit by reversing removal procedure.
PERIODIC INSPECTION
1. Check Unit condenser coil for obstructions and dirt. DO NOT place objects in front of or on top of hood.
Restricting circulating air in and out of Unit will decrease its cooling efficiency.
2. Check dispensing valves for dripping that indicates valve is leaking and repair as necessary.
ADJUSTMENTS
ADJUSTING CO
2
REGULATORS
(see Figure 2)
NOTE: To readjust CO
2
regulator to a lower setting, loosen adjusting screw lock nut, then turn screw
to the left (counterclockwise) until pressure gage reads 5-psi lower than new setting will be. Turn
adjusting screw to the right (clockwise) until gage registers new setting, then tighten lock nut.
Carbonator Primary CO
2
Regulator.
Refer to manual provided with carbonator and adjust primary CO
2
regulator for carbonator operating pressure.
