Preferably, route lower end of drip tray drain hose and connect to a permanent drain.
CONNECTING PLAIN WATER SOURCE LINE TO UNIT
(see Figure 2)
NOTE: IMI Cornelius Inc. recommends that a water shutoff valve and water filter be installed in plain
water inlet supply line.
The plain water source to the equipment shall be installed with adequate backflow protection to
comply with applicable Federal, State, and local codes.
1. Install ADAPTER FITTING (item 3) in end of Unit plain water inlet line labeled ‘‘WTR’’.
2. Route plain water source line up to Unit and connect to Unit plain water inlet line.
CONNECTING CARBONATED WATER SOURCE LINE TO UNIT
(see Figure 2)
1. Install ADAPTER FITTING (item 3) in end of Unit carbonated water inlet line labeled ‘‘CO
2
WTR’’.
2. Route carbonated water source line from carbonator up to Unit.
3. Connect carbonated water source line to Unit carbonated water inlet line.
CONNECTING SYRUP SOURCE LINES TO UNIT
(see Figure 2)
NOTE: Unit syrup inlet lines are labeled to identify dispensing valves they serve. For example: line
labeled No. 1 must be connected to syrup source line that provides syrup to be dispensed from No. 1
dispensing valve (No. 1 dispensing valve is valve on right side when facing front of Unit.)
1. Install ADAPTER FITTINGS (item 3) in ends of Unit syrup source inlet lines.
2. Route syrup source lines from syrup tanks location up to Unit.
3. Connect syrup source lines to Unit syrup inlet lines.
PREPARING FOR OPERATION
WARNING: Disconnect electrical power to Unit to prevent personal injury before attempting
any internal maintenance. Only qualified personnel should service internal components or
electrical wiring.
1. Make sure CUP REST (item 1) and DRIP TRAY (item 2) are in place on Unit.
CAUTION: Make sure primary and secondary CO
2
regulators adjusting screws are turned to
the left (counterclockwise) until all tension is relieved from adjusting screws springs before
opening CO
2
cylinder shutoff valve.
