Carbonator Primary CO
2
Regulator.
Refer to manual provided with carbonator and adjust primary CO
2
regulator for carbonator operating
pressure.
Sugar Syrup Tanks Secondary CO
2
Regulator.
Adjust sugar syrup tanks secondary CO
2
Regulator at 45-psig for syrup lines up to 10-feet in length plus
one pound for each additional length of 10-feet, plus one pound for each 2-feet of vertical lift. For example;
if syrup line total length is 30-feet and total vertical lift is 6-feet, then 45-psig + 2-psig (1-pound for every
2-feet of vertical lift which is 6-feet); total equals 45 + 2 + 3 = 50-psig CO
2
regulator setting. Loosen lock
nut on CO
2
regulator adjusting screw, turn adjusting screw to the right (clockwise) until gage registers
desired pressure, then tighten lock nut.
Low-Calorie (diet) Syrup Tank Secondary CO
2
Regulator.
Adjust low-calorie (diet) soft drink tank secondary CO
2
regulator at 10-psig for syrup lines up to 30-feet in
length. Syrup lines longer than 30-feet in length may require a slightly higher CO
2
regulator setting to
12-psig maximum. Excessive CO
2
pressure may cause low-calorie syrup carbonation resulting in foam.
5. Open plain water inlet supply line shutoff valve. Check for water leaks and tighten any loose connections.
6. Plug carbonator power cord into electrical outlet carbonator will start and continue to operate until
carbonated water tank is full.
7. Dispense from dispensing valves until all air is purged from carbonated and plain water systems and until
carbonated and plain water are dispensed. Check for carbonated and plain water leaks and repair if
evident.
8. If your Unit is equipped with dispensing valve(s) with adjustable water flow regulator(s), adjust regulator(s)
for water flow rate as instructed in Service and Maintenance Section.
IMPORTANT: All syrup systems must be sanitized before Unit is put into operation.
9. Sanitize all syrup systems as instructed.
10. Install syrup tanks in syrup systems.
11. Dispense from all dispensing valves until all air is purged from syrup systems and syrup is dispensed.
12. Adjust dispensing valves adjustable syrup flow regulators for Water-to-Syrup ‘‘Ratio’’ of dispensed product
as instructed.
INSTALLING DECALS
Install DECALS (item 4) on dispensing valve covers.
