File Transfer Utility (TFTP)

The file transfer utility (TFTP) has the following five functions:

- Save and update (restore) the settings file for the access point

- Log file collection

- Firmware backup

- Firmware upgrades

- Issuing a reset command

To use this software for maintenance of the AP, you require a wired
or wireless network connection from your PC to the AP.

The file transfer utility can be used on Windows 95, Windows 98,
Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000.

Starting the file transfer utility

Double click on the “filesend.exe” icon on the maintenance tool
floppy disk (1/2) supplied with the AP to run the utility directly, or
copy the utility to your hard disk and double click on the hard disk
copy.
