Inter-Segment Brouter Mode
Multiple APs can be installed to configure a wireless brouter. One
AP operates as a “unit type AP” and the other as an “AP operating
as a station”. In the following example, communication between
ST1 and ST2 is via the AP. There is no communication with user
units.

Using the above inter-segment brouter mode, the system can be
configured as follows to be equivalent to a multi-port router.
This type of connection is particularly useful when you wish to
connect between different network groups but cannot do so via the
wired LAN. RIP1 and static routing are supported.
