Software Setup

This chapter describes how to setup the AP using a web browser
and explains each setting item. Before you can setup the AP,
perform the preparation described in “Chapter 5 Setup Preparation”.

Setting Method

This section describes how to perform setup using a web browser.

Password Input

The following screen appears after you perform the preparation
described in Chapter 5 and connect to the AP.

Figure 6.1. Password Input Screen

The AP accepts two different passwords: a password for read-only
access and a password for administrator access. If you login using
the read-only password you can only view the settings. If you
login using the administrator password you can also modify the
settings.
The default factory setting is no password. In this case, clicking
the [Login] button without entering a password logs in as the
administrator (both read and write permission).
