13. In the
Camera Settings
select
Gain settings
in the
Camera parameter
folder.
The actual camera gain values are read from the camera and displayed in the
Current
camera gain values
field:

14. Check the displayed camera gain values.
Values between 80 and 200 are recommended.
15. If the current camera gain values are outside this range:
– Adjust the values by modifying the following parameters:

Increase the intensity of the illumination.
Increase the integration time.
Increase the analog coarse gain*.
<80
Decrease the intensity of the illumination.
Decrease the integration time.
Decrease the analog coarse gain*.

* 1 dB corresponds to 27.85 steps in the
Current camera gain values
field. The
analog coarse gain can be set to the same value for all channels by setting the
topmost value (red channel front tap), and then selecting the
Set all equal
button.
– After each parameter modification, save the settings to the volatile memory of the
camera, and select the refresh button.
– Check the values again and modify the parameters, if necessary.
