PREPARING AND USING THE DEVICE
• Remove the transparent tank by turning clockwise until completely unscrewed and then pulling downwards (fig. 1);
• Insert MAX 20ml of saline solution in the tank (E), (fig. 2). If, according to a medical prescription, it is necessary to use a
greater quantity of saline solution, divide this quantity into multiple sittings of MAX 20ml.
• Fully insert the two rectangles in relief at the bottom of the device body (B) in the grooves of the tank (E), turn the tank (E)
anti-clockwise until it is screwed in tightly.
• Insert the dual use tip (A) in the body of the device, choosing the adult or child version (fig. 3);
• Connect one end of the air tube (not included with the product) to the compressor air outlet and the other to the air
connector of the nasal irrigation device (fig. 4);
• Plug the power cable of your Chicco piston aerosol device into a mains socket;
• Check that all parts are correctly inserted and connected together;
• Turn on the nebulizer device by moving the switch to the on position (see device instructions);
WARNING:
When the nebulizer is on:
a) a small puff of air is continuously emitted from the ventilation hole under the air tube connector (F). This is necessary for
the correct functioning of the nasal irrigation device and is completely normal.
b) a small puff of air and drops of saline solution may come out from the nebuliser nozzle hole even if the pump button is
not being pressed. This is normal.
• Bring the dual use tip (A) up to the nostrils, press and hold the pump button, and carry out the treatment session. During
treatment, we recommend that you close your other nostril using your finger.
• If the pump button is released, the irrigation is suspended. To begin again, press the button again and hold down for a
continuous flow.
• The quantity of saline solution inserted in the tank must be evenly distributed between the two nostrils. Breathe normally
through the nose during treatment. If necessary, momentarily interrupt irrigation to blow your nose.
• During the session, a certain amount of saline solution and mucous is collected in the collector (C), which must be dis-
posed of at the end of the sitting. This is normal and has no bearing on the results of the treatment.
• When the session has finished, turn off the nebulizer device and carry out the cleaning/disinfection operations described
in the relevant paragraph.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING
Before each use:
• The nasal irrigation device must be emptied and cleaned straight after every use to avoid the build up of incrustations
that could compromise the correct functioning of the accessory.
• Disassemble the device into its removable parts and thoroughly wash both the inside and outside of the device body, the
tip and the tank with warm water; if necessary disinfect with denatured alcohol and rinse carefully.
• Make sure that all components are completely dry before storing them in a clean, dry place away from sources of light
and heat.
WARNING: the nasal irrigation device and its components must not be placed in boiling water as this could
cause irreparable damage.

WARRANTY
The product is guaranteed against any conformity defect in normal conditions of use as provided for by the instructions for use.
The warranty shall not therefore apply in the case of damages caused by improper use, wear or accidental events.
For the duration of warranty on conformity defects please refer to the specific provisions of national laws applicable in the
country of purchase, where provided.
