Part 8:

COMPONENT REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT

Replacing the Wash Pump Seal:

1. Remove the 8 mm drain plug in the

pump volute and drain the pump.

2. Remove (9) pump housing screws.

3. Remove the impeller retaining hardware.

MOTOR SHAFT HAS LEFT-HAND
THREADS. TURN IMPELLER CW TO
REMOVE.

4. Remove the defective seal.

Save the shim washer

5. Install the replacement seal.

Stationary portion goes in the pump housing.
Rotating portion mounts on the shaft.

6. Reassemble in reverse order.
