6 - MAINTENANCE

Replacing the belt

If the belt breaks, the message "ALTERNATOR" is dis-
played on the message screens. Shut down the engine,
remove the ignition key and change the belt.

Remove the retaining screws

(1)

and

(2)

. Use the adjust-

ment screw

(3)

to push the alternator inwards.

Remove the worn belt.

Install a new belt.

Adjust the belt using the screw

(3)

.

Retighten the retaining screws

(1)

and

(2)

.

Run the engine for about an hour and then check the belt
tension again.

Service specifications

Check: Every 1000 hours

NOTE:

Ask your CASE CONSTRUCTION Dealer to check this.

Fuel tank filter

Service specifications

Clean filter: Periodically

Remove the filter and clean it in diesel oil.

Use suitable fuel to refill the fuel tank, (refer to
