Zooming
U s ing the Handle Zoom Rocker
You can set the zoom speed of the handle zoom rocker using
the ZOOM SPEED switch and the menu.
1 S et the ZOOM s witch to ROCKER.
2 Move the zoom roc k er toward T to zoom out (wide-
angle) and toward
S
to zoom in (telephoto).
Handle zoom rocker: A pproximate zoom s peed s
(time required to zoom end-to-end)
* When the zoom speed is too fast, it will be more difficult to focus while zooming.
Setting the Zoom Speed
1 Select the overall speed level (steps 1-2,

2 Select [Handle Zoom Speed H] or [Handle Zoom Speed L].

• You can set the zoom speed independently for each of the positions of the ZOOM SPEED switch.
3 Select the desired speed and then press SET.
4 Set the ZOOM SPEED switch to H or L.
• You can set the ZOOM SPEED switch to OFF to disable the zoom rocker on the handle.
U s ing the S upplied Wirele ss Controller or an
Optional Remote Controller
Set the ZOOM switch to ROCKER to operate the zoom
remotely. The zoom speeds when using the supplied wireless
controller, the optional RC-V100 Remote Controller or a
commercially available remote control connected to the
REMOTE terminal are different. When using the supplied
wireless controller, you must press the record enable button
and
T or W button simultaneously to zoom.
