In addition, there are two connectors on the front panel marked "Ethernet" and "RS232"
respectively.

The Ethernet (LAN) connection is used for the permanent communication channel between the PC
and the VIBROCONTROL 1803/1804. The recommended connection cable is a standard LAN
cable (CAT.5E or higher).

To connect measuring devices with RS-232 connectors (VIBROCONTROL 950/960), use a female
9-pin DB connector on one side (RS-232 connector on vibration monitor) and an RJ11 connector
on the other side (RS-232 connector on VIBROCONTROL 1803/1804).
