280 Dauntless

Convertible Helm Seat

The convertible helm seat can be rotated to face aft (see Figure 3.23.1). Only use seat in forward facing

position while underway. Do not rotate seat while underway. To operate:
1. Pull out and hold

SEAT LOCKING PIN,

then press and hold

AFT

on seat switch until seat rotation stops;

release seat locking pin.

2. To rotate to forward-facing position, press and hold

FWD

on switch until seat rotation stops and

locking pin engages.

Equipment damage can occur. Pull release pin

before activating seat mechanism.

CAUTION

Moving parts can crush or pinch fingers, hands

or other body parts. To avoid injury, stay clear

of folding or moving parts.
