280 Dauntless

Beach Boarding Ladder (Option)

The beach boarding ladder, if equipped, is stored in

the bow anchor locker when not in use (see Figure

3.33.1). To deploy ladder:
1. Open anchor locker

2. Extend ladder forward.
3. Flip ladder down and extend down to beach.

CAUTION

Be sure that the anchor is deployed and secured

before using the beach boarding ladder.

Do not use beach boarding ladder to board

the boat from the water.

NOTICE

Reboarding Ladder

The reboarding ladder is located under the ladder

access cover (see Figure 3.33.2). The ladder can be

deployed without raising the cover. To deploy the

reboarding ladder:

1.  Release ladder’s locking strap.
2.  Pull ladder out and extend down.
3.  Extend ladder rungs.
