280 Dauntless

Swim Patio Set-up (Option)

The swim patio, located on the port gunwale, is a

patio for swimming and fishing. See the following

page for information on the swim patio's safety

override switch and ladder. To operate:
1. Release latches on each side of patio door; patio

automatically opens to rest at a 45-degree angle

to the water.

2. Push patio down with foot to fully deploy.

3. Insert safety pin in strut to lock in down position.
4. Reverse procedure to close and secure door.

CAUTION

SWAMPING HAZARD - Do not overload the port

side of the boat when the swim patio is open.

This may allow an excessive amount of water

to enter and cause an unstable condition.

Door must be secured in a closed position

while vessel is underway.
