280 Dauntless

Component Breakers

This vessel utilizes manual reset breakers on the

12VDC distribution panel (see Figure. 4.4.1) located

inside the head. If breaker replacement is necessary,

use the same amperage as the original. Replacing with

one of lower amperage will not be sufficient to carry

the load and will cause nuisance breaker tripping.

Replacing a breaker with one of higher amperage will

not provide adequate protection against an electrical

malfunction, creating

a fire hazard.

When leaving the boat for more than a week, press

SWITCH OFF FOR LONG-TERM STORAGE

. This

disables power to the entire boat including all switches in the

24-HOUR POWER

grouping.
