9 DISPOSAL
ATTENTION
Improper disposal of the gearbox or its parts can cause a high environmental risk.
• Make sure that you have read and understood the safety information contained in chapter 2 of
this manual.
• Comply with national laws in force.

Assign disposal operations only to personnel authorized for the specific task (see section 2.2).
Disposal of the gearbox and its parts must be carried out with full respect to the environment, by
dividing waste by material type and by delivering them to the appropriate collection centers.
Dispose of cleaners, lubricants and any other non-biodegradable chemicals separately.
Do not try to reuse parts or components that, following evaluation by authorized personnel, have
been declared unfit for service.
Contact the competent authorities for further information regarding the disposal of the gearbox.
