Install the gearbox by coupling its output shaft with the machine shaft and reposition the shrink
disc.
Gently tighten all the locking screws D of the shrink disc, then tighten in a circular sequence,
progressively increasing the torque up to the value listed in table 5.
Replace the protection cover A, the screws B and the spacers C.
DANGER
Commissioning the gearbox without repositioning the protection cover may cause
entanglement of body parts, causing serious or even fatal injuries.
• Always remember to reposition the protection cover before commissioning the gearbox, both
after first installation and any maintenance and/or repairs.

5.4.2 VERSION WITH BELT PULLEY
The belt pulley on the output shaft, when included, is normally supplied already assembled.
Should it be necessary to remove the pulley to allow connecting the gearbox to the machine,
follow the instructions below.

Identify the pin bolt A, recognizing it from the remaining screws B.
Remove the pin bolt A along with the screws B and remove the pulley C from the output shaft of
the gearbox.
Mark the bores corresponding to the pin bolt on both the pulley C and the output shaft, to make
the subsequent reassembly easier.
