• Before carrying out work on the gearbox, wear suitable protective clothing (e.g. safety shoes,
gloves, goggles).
• Make sure the workplace is clean and tidy.
•
If necessary, use lifting equipment suitable for the type of load to be handled.
WARNING
Adhesives, cleaners and lubricants can cause allergic skin reactions and severe eye
irritation.
• Always wear protective clothing, especially gloves and goggles, before handling adhesives,
cleaners and/or lubricants.
• In case of contact with the skin, remove contaminated clothing and wash the affected areas with
plenty of water and neutral soap.
• In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water, even under the eyelids,
for at least 10 minutes.
• If pain and/or redness persist, consult a doctor.
WARNING
Adhesives, cleaners and lubricants are flammable and can cause burns, irritation to the
respiratory tract and even severe material damage.
• In case of fire, use adequate respiratory equipment and wear the appropriate personal protective
equipment.
• Use only powder, foam or CO
2
extinguishers. The use of water jets is allowed only to cool
containers not involved in the fire but exposed to radiation from open flames.
ATTENTION
Adhesives, cleaners and lubricants are hazardous to the environment.
• Inspect the gearbox regularly.
•
Store adhesives, cleaners and lubricants in their original packaging, in a cool, dry, well ventilated
facility and in accordance with current regulations.
•
In case of accidental release, contain and collect the spillage with non-combustible absorbent
material (e.g. sand or soil) and treat as hazardous waste in compliance with local and national
regulations.
NOTE
Make sure that you have read and understood the safety data sheets of each adhesive,
cleaner or lubricant product before use.
