To Enable GPS use on BlackBerry Maps (using either Bluetooth GPS

receiver or built-in GPS)

Click the Maps icon in the applications menu, and then
press the Menu key.

Click Options.

Under GPS Source, select either Internal GPS or an
external GPS unit if you have one.

Press the Escape key, and save your choices.

Viewing a Particular Map from a Contact

You can view a map as follows:

From the Map icon, press the
Menu key from the main map
screen and select Find
Location.

In the Mapping screen, press
the Menu key and select
Start GPS Navigation.

The BlackBerry Map software will now search

for your current location.

Alternatively, you can follow these steps to view a map of a contact’s location:

Click the Map icon, press the
Menu key from the main map
screen, and select Find
Location.
