Getting Your Music and Playlists onto Your 
BlackBerry 

The BlackBerry comes with internal memory but the OS and other pre-loaded programs 

take up some of that space, so what’s left over is usually not enough to store all your 
music.  

Step 1: Buy and Insert a Media Card  

You can buy a media card (optional) to boost the memory available to store your favorite 
music (see page 359 for help). 

NOTE: 

Some BlackBerry smartphones come pre-installed with media cards.  

Step 2: Transfer Your Music from Your Computer 

If you are Windows user, please refer to page 105.
